Winter Storm Warning Continues Until 3 PM This Afternoon – Mid Michigan

I just listened to the latest extended forecast for the reminder of this winter season and it doesn’t sound good for winter haters.  Previous forecasts of a mild winter have now been replaced with possible record low temps and snow amounts.  El Nino seems to be weakening, totally changing the forecast from previously.  Our winter storm has brought 3.5 inches of snow snow so far but it is expected to continue until 3 PM.  They are still estimating that we will get 6-8 inches total.    Here is a link to the latest predictions:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjZDWDcJctI&feature=share.

Our temperature at 9:15 AM is 31°F (-1°C), the humidity is 97%, and skies are overcast with continued light snow.  The dew point is 30°F (-1°C) and winds are from the north at 15 mph, gusting to 21 mph.  The pressure is 29.58 in (1001.7 mb) and falling.  Our wind chill is 20°F (-7°C).  Viability is 1 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 43°F (6°C) and the overnight low was 31°F (-1°C).  Averages for this date are 41°F / 29°F.
