Below Normal Temperatures Return To Mid Michigan

Today will really feel like winter with the high only around 30° and brisk winds.  The snow that we have will most likely remain in place through this week with no warm ups expected anytime soon.  We received a total of 5 inches from yesterday’s storm, and the temperatures rose high enough to clear the roads.  Today should be relatively quiet with the possibilities of snow showers this afternoon.  No additional accumulations are expected.

Our 9 AM temp is 29.9°F (-2°C), the humidity is 82% and skies are overcast.  The pressure is 29.81 in (1009.5 mb) and rising.  Winds are from the west at 12 mph, giving us a wind chill of 19°F (-7°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  The humidity is 81%.   Yesterday’s high was 35°F (2°C) and the overnight low was 29°F (-2°C).  Averages for this date are 40°F / 28°F.  Sunrise was at 7:42 AM and sunset will be at 5:04 PM.
