A Wintry Morning In Mid Michigan

A Wintry Morning In Mid Michigan

This morning looks like a typical day in January and it isn’t even officially winter yet.  Hard to believe that it is still a month away.  The long range forecast doesn’t look too good for us so we may as well just find some way to enjoy it.  I really do like snow this time of year.  With our lack of sunlight, the snow brightens it up a bit.  People are starting to get their holiday lights up and that’s always pleasant to see.

Our 9:30 AM temperature is 28°F (-2°C), the humidity is 69%, and winds are from the west at 10 mph.  The dew point is 20°F (-7°C) and the wind chill is 19°F (-7°C).   Yesterday’s high was 32°F (0°C) and the overnight low is 26°F (-3°C).  The pressure is 19.97 in (10.14.9 mb) and steady.  The record high for Nov.28 is 64°F (18°C) set in 1960, and the record low is 6°F (-14°F) set in 1955.
