Sunny Skies With Very Cold Temps For Our Saturday – Mid Michigan

It was a joy to see the sun this morning.  Unfortunately,  I can’t say much for our temperatures.  Single digits were the norm.  We had numerous  lake effect snow squalls which left us with half an inch of new snow.  Many were without power because of the strong winds and ice, but we were lucky for a change.  Our highs should be in the normal range today and no additional precip is expected.

Our 10 AM temperature is 14°F (-10°C), the humidity is 65%, and winds are from the northwest at 3 mph.  The dew point is 4°F (-16°C) and skies are partly cloudy.  The pressure is 30.84 in (1044.4 mb) and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 32°F (0°C) and the overnight low was 12°F (-11°C).  Averages are 28°F / 15°F.  Sunrise was at 7:42 AM and sunset will be at 5:59 PM.
