Same Mess, Different Day – Mid Michigan

Same Mess, Different Day – Mid Michigan

Once again, we are under a winter storm watch from midnight tonight into tomorrow morning.  There seems to be no end to this.  This is expected to include snow, sleet and freezing rain, much like we had a week ago.  Expected snow amounts for my area are 3-6 inches.  We received a little snow late yesterday but only quarter of an inch.  Our total snow cover right now is about 1 inch.  The one good thing is that we aren’t expecting the extreme cold that came last week.

Our 9 AM temperature is 24.6°F (-4°C), the humidity is 86%, and skies are cloudy.  The pressure is 30.25 in (1024.4 mb) and steady.  Winds are from the northeast at 7 mph giving us a wind chill of 17°F (-8°C).  The dew point is 21°F (-6°C) and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 28°F (-2°C) and the overnight low was 23°F (-2°C).  Sunrise was at 7:39 AM and sunset will be at 6:02 PM.
