Snow Squalls For Our Sunday – Mid Michigan

Snow Squalls For Our Sunday – Mid Michigan

Yesterday was supposed to be sunny.  It never happened.  We were supposed to have 4 days of dry weather.  That isn’t happening either.  In fact,  it’s snowing quite hard out there right now.  The latest forecast is now calling for up to 3 inches of new snow by tomorrow for my area.  How can these local weather gurus get it so wrong?  We still have about 2 inches of very icy snow cover from the last storm, but hey!  This is February, isn’t it?  I’m sure that the winter sports people are happy but I’m really ready for spring to come.

Our 1:15 PM temperature is 25.3°F (-4°C), the humidity is 69% and we have moderate snow falling at this time.  Winds are from the East at 9 mph giving us a wind chill of 17°F (-8°C).  Viability is 1 mile.  The dew point is 17°F (-8°C).  Yesterday’s high was 26°F (-3°C) and the overnight low was 23°F (-6°C).  The pressure is 29.96 in (1014.6 mb) and falling.  Sunrise was at 7:31 AM and sunset will be at 6:10 PM.
