A Snowy Thursday For Michigan

A Snowy Thursday For Michigan

We woke to an additional 2+ inches of new snow and it is still coming down at a moderate clip.  The forecast called for 1-2 inches for my area, but we already have that and the radar is showing no end to it anytime soon.  What’s worse is that we have some very cold air heading our way for the next two days, the coldest of the season so far.  Mother Nature seems to be making up for our mild December and January.

Our 9:45 AM temperature is 24°F (-4°C), the humidity is 84% and we have moderate, blowing snow.  Winds are from the NE at 13 – 16 mph,  the wind chill is 11°F (-12°C).  The dew point is 19°F (-7°C).  The pressure is 29.73 in (1006.8 mb) and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 33°F (1°C) and the overnight low was 24° (-4°C).  Averages for this date are 29°F / 16°F.  Sunrise was at 7:37 AM and sunset will be at 6:05 PM.
