We began the day with sun and clear skies.  Now our sky is overcast and rain cells are appearing on radar.  We did get a little rain overnight, but much more is expected later today.  Severe storms are even a possibility.  Iowa was hit quite hard yesterday, and that same system will be over us today.

Our 11:30 AM temperature is 65°F, the humidity is 80%, and winds are from the SSE at 4-11 mph.  The pressure is 29.75 in and falling, and visibility is 10 miles.  The dew point is 56°F  Yesterday’s high was 70°F and the overnight low was 49°F.  Average temps for this date are 58°F/36°F.  The record high for April 16 is 86°F set in 2002, and the record low is 10°F set in 1875.  Sunrise was at 6:51 AM and sunset will be at 8:22 PM.

Tonight:  Scattered showers before 7 PM.  Becoming partly cloudy overnight.  Low 47°F.  Winds W at 10-20 mph, gusting higher at times.  Chance of rain 30%.

Thursday:  Mostly cloudy.  High near 65°F.  Winds W at 10-15 mph, gusting higher at times.
