We had storms move through the state early last night dropping 0.68″ in my rain gauge. Some areas in the southern part of the state got over two inches. We were briefly under a severe TS warning but it wasn’t that bad. The first hit between 7-8 PM, then the other one came about 11 PM. It seems like our temperatures keep going from one extreme to the other. We’re in the low to mid 70s one week, then in the mid to upper 80s the next. Yesterday’s drive home was pleasant and we had good weather all the way. Today should be dry with typical August temperatures in the low 80s.
