We are seeing our temperatures rising a little more everyday with excessive heat expected next week. The heat index is expected to rise above 100 degrees one day. Our morning temperatures started out in the 50s, and it was great sleeping weather last night. Today has been comfortably cool with plenty of sun. This is great weather and for me, it’s perfect. There was dense fog when I got up this morning with visibility less than a mile. That has dissipated but skies remain cloudy. We should see the sun later today with temps in the low to mid 80s. Today is our last day here for this trip. It rained most of Saturday but toward evening, the sky cleared and we even saw a little sun. Temperatures never got as warm as what was predicted and we were happy about that. Down state, however, there were many severe storms and even tornadoes.
