July 4th brought some folks a little rain and in some cases, a lot of rain. We, however, received none. What can be said about this weather except we complained back in April that we didn’t think that summer would ever come. Now it’s too hot. A heat advisory is in effect for most of the upcoming week, and many places will see highs in the triple digits today. For us, the heat index will be that high but not the actual temperature. Looking at the radar this morning, it appears that the southern half of the state is getting doused. Here in Topinabee, we have nice temperatures and plenty of sun.
