This winter storm has been a bit of a bust for us. We only got a couple inches of snow compared to other areas. We are under a winter weather advisory rather than a warning, so it appears that we may not be affected as badly as originally thought. That’s fine with me. We woke this morning to about 1.5″ of new snow, so now there is almost 3″ on the ground. It was heavy and wet, so it stuck to everything. Snow began falling late yesterday afternoon and continued overnight. There is about half an inch on the ground which melted down to 0.02″ in my rain gauge. According to YouTube weather guru, Ryan Hall, we have a number of potential snowstorms heading our way by the end of January. So far, our winter has been snowless.
