We had dense fog early this morning but it burned off quickly. Now it is sunny with a few clouds in the sky and light winds. The rain began late last night and is continuing this afternoon. There was 0.21″ in my gauge at 9AM and it has been raining since then. Temps have been dropping all morning and are now in the 40s. It looks like our wonderful weather is coming to an end. We are seeing increasing clouds as the day goes on and rain is in the forecast for tonight. My husband and I took a ride early today to see what remains of our autumn colors. Many trees are already bare, but the maples seem to be hanging tough.
