8/14/17: Partly Cloudy and Mild in Mid Michigan
We have a lovely morning with very mild temps and plenty of sun. It should be a mostly dry day with the possibility of rain later. I love the cool temperatures that we’ve been having at night and it seems so good to turn off the AC and open the windows. This has been a very rainy summer for us, but because of it, everyone’s gardens are doing great. I haven’t had to water mine nearly as much as I usually do. We have one more trip up to our campground next month, and I’m hoping that September is good to us.
My internet problems seem to be resolved for now and I’m wondering if Verizon didn’t purposefully slow down my internet speed. I found it to be a bit strange that the IT guy didn’t offer any reasons why it was so slow. They did say that after we used 10 gigs, that our speed would be reduced to 3G. I can live with that but what we had was slower than dial up. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. If I find out that is what they are doing, I’ll be contacting the FCC.
Our 9 AM temp is 69°F (21°C), the humidity is 65%, and skies are partly cloudy. The dew point is 57°F (13°C) and winds are from the south at 5 mph. The pressure is 29.98 in (1014.9 mb) and falling. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 79°F (26°C) and the overnight low was 62°F (17°C).
