A Very Wet, Foggy Saturday Morning in Mid Michigan
Heavy rain moved into our area late last night dumping 0.63 inches in my area. Some areas received over an inch. There is another round coming later today, and with falling temps, it could change to snow especially tonight. There is no significant accumulation expected however. This morning has become a bit foggy since I got up but temperatures are mild and it is misting. Yesterday afternoon saw a little sun late in the day but we probably won’t see that happen today. In fact, it will probably be a washout.
Our 8 AM temp is 41.9°F (6°C), the humidity is 92%, and skies are overcast with light fog. The pressure is 29.52 in (999.0 mb) and falling. The dew point is 42°F (6°C) and winds are from the south at 6 mph giving us a wind chill of 39°F (4°C). Visibility is 4 miles. Yesterday’s high was 43°F (5°C) and the overnight low was 41°F (5°C). Averages for this date are 46°F / 31°F.
