Another Round of Above Normal Temps For Mid Michigan
The extended forecast for the next 10 days is calling for temperatures above normal once again. So this pattern seems to be continuing right into December. I love it. I’m not ready for winter weather yet. As Christmas draws near, I’ll be more accepting of snow. I do love a white Christmas. The long range forecast is calling for a very normal, snowy winter for our part of the country and I won’t complain about that as long as it doesn’t start too early. Today is expected to be wonderful with plenty of sun, light winds (for a change), and temps in the upper 40s. I’ll be outdoors much of the day to be sure.
Our 9:45 AM temp is 36.5°F (3°C), the humidity is 72%, and winds are from the north but calm. The dew point is 30°F (-1°C), and skies are clear. The pressure is 30.14 in (1020.4 mb) and falling. Yesterday’s high was 45°F (7°C), and the overnight low was 34°F (1°C). Averages for this date are 42°F / 28°F. The record high for Nov. 26 is 66°F (19°C) set in 1896, and the record low is -5°F (-21°C) set in 1949.
