Possible Records Broken Yesterday – Mid Michigan
Local meteorologists were saying that new records were set yesterday regarding high temps, but I have found different data. The high in Flint was 66°F but we didn’t get quite that warm here where I am. I live in the country and I know that it is always a little warmer in town. The data that I have found shows a record high of 70°F for yesterday’s date set back in 1905. Regardless, it was very warm, almost to the point of not needing a jacket. Unfortunately, the winds were very strong so it wasn’t too pleasant being out in it. Today should be mostly sunny with calmer winds.
Our 10 AM temp is 39.7°F (4°C), the humidity is 55%, and winds are from the north at 6 mph. The pressure is 30.34 in (1026.5 mb) and steady. The dew point is 27°F (-3°C) and skies are clear. The wind chill is 36°F (2°C). Yesterday’s high was 64°F (18°C) and the overnight low was 42°F (5°C). Averages for this date are 41°F / 27°F. The record high for Nov. 29 is 70°F (21°C) set in 1905, and the record low is 6°F (-14°C) set in 1955.
