More Snow For Mid Michigan
Saturday brought us light intermittent snow showers resulting in an inch of snow cover this morning. We could see a little more this afternoon but no significant amounts are expected. There is just enough to brighten things up a little. We don’t need anymore. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything to say in the matter. There is no warm up in the extended forecast, so it looks like this snow will be around for awhile. It’s amazing how people forget that roads get slippery when snow covered. There was a large number of accidents yesterday and this always happens whenever we get just an inch or two.
Our 9:15 AM temperature is 25°F (-4°C), the humidity is 72%, and the pressure is 29.88 in (1011.6 mb) and steady. Skies are overcast with a few snow flurries. Winds are from the SW at 8 mph and the wind chill is 18°F (-8°C). The dew point is 19°F (-7°C) and visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 30°F (-1°C) and the overnight low was 20°F (-7°C). Averages are 36°F / 23°F. Sunrise was at 7:58 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM.
