No Winter Weather Advisories For Us Yet – Mid Michigan
So far there are no winter weather advisories for my area and I’m hoping that it stays that way. Northern Michigan could receive as much as a foot of snow with lesser amounts just to our north and west. Local meteorologist, Mark Torregrossa, warns that this scenario could change at any time. Yesterday was quite nice with light winds but very chilly temps. Unfortunately, this will be what we can expect over the upcoming week. There is no real warmup in the forecast anytime soon. Highs should be near 50° by this time of the year and we won’t even be close for a while.
Our 9:15 AM temperature is 36°F (2°C), the humidity is 60%, and winds are from the east at 8 mph. The wind chill is 29°F (-1°C). The pressure is 29.85 in (1010.5 mb) and falling. Skies are cloudy and visibility is 10 miles. The dew point is 20°F (-7°C). Sunrise was at 7:14 AM and sunset will be at 8:04 PM. Yesterday’s high was 43°F and the overnight low was 34°F. Averages for this date are 50°F / 32°F.
