Heat In Lower Michigan, Devastating Floods In The Upper Peninsula

While my area is baking in 90° temperatures, heavy storms have wreaked havoc in Michigan’s Copper Country.  My daughter lived in Houghton for three years and I’m so happy that she isn’t there now.  I have attached a link to a local News source there:

We have been fortunate that our rain has finally subsided and any that formed yesterday missed us.   Fortunately, another cool down is expected on Tuesday and that should bring us back to normal termperatures.

Our 1:45 PM temperature is 91°F (33°C), the humidity is 52% and the dew point is 70°F (21°C).  Skies are mostly cloudy and visibility is 10 miles.  The pressure is 30.03 in and steady.  Winds are from the SW at 8 mph. Yesterday’s high was 84°F (29°C) and the overnight low was 71°F (22°C).  Averages for this date are 77°F/56°F.
