Scattered Showers Missed Us On Sunday – Mid Michigan

The little rain that we received last week didn’t do much to end the drought in my area, but it did manage to green the grass up enough so that we had to mow.  Fortunately, the unbearable heat is gone and not expected to return.  We will be heading up to our campground Wednesday and the extended forecast sounds quite nice at this time.  Our weather this summer has been quite docile with no bad storms in my area.  In fact, rain has been pretty scarce over the past two months here in Shiawassee County.  I’m hoping that we get more soon.

Our 8:30 AM temperature is 61°F (16°C), the humidity is 89% and winds are calm.  The pressure is 30.10 in and steady.  The dew point is 58°F (14°C) and skies are partly cloudy.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 83°F (28°C) and the overnight low was 56°F (13°C).  Averages for this date are 83°F / 60°F.  Sunrise was at 6:25 AM and sunset will be at 8:59 PM.
