My morning job was trimming the bushes in front of the deck.  When I started, the temperature was in the low 70s.  By the time I finished, it was in the 80s.  It was a messy job and much of the trimmings stuck to me since I was wet from sweat.  I never look forward to this job every summer but it has to be done.  Tomorrow or Wednesday, I will tackle the forsythia bushes.  They aren’t quite so difficult.
