More Heat For Mid Michigan. When Will It End?
As anyone who reads my blog can tell. I’m really tired of these hot temperatures. I guess that I should be thankful that we haven’t had any severe weather this summer, and that the farmers have gotten enough rain for their crops even though we did go through a mini drought that lasted almost a month. That seems to be over now. Today, I finished trimming my forsythia bushes and that was a big job in this heat. But I had to do it today because I’m working quite a few days in the next two weeks.
My brother, who lives in Seattle, described living on the west coast as like living in the Twilight Zone. He spoke of the smoke from all the wild fires veiling the sun so that it appears to be an orange ball in the sky. Fortunately, we haven’t had that problem in Michigan this year either, and my heart and prayers go out for those who are dealing with this nightmare in all of the areas affected.
