Feels Like Fall in Mid Michigan
With the eastern seaboard bracing for Hurricane Florence, we are expected to be spared from this storm, even though it appears to be heading right for us. One local meteorologist said that strong high pressure will keep it to our east and it will stall out over those unfortunate to be in it’s path causing flooding rains. I certainly hope it does miss us since we don’t need anymore rain. At this time, our extended forecast looks terrific with plenty of sun and normal temperatures. Right now, however, we have very cool temps and drizzly conditions. That should end today.
Our 9:45 AM temp is 58°F (15°C), the humidity is 94%, and winds are from the northeast at 8 mph. The dew point is 57°F (14°C) and skies are cloudy with misty rain. Visibility is 10 miles. The pressure is 29.97 in and steady. Yesterday’s high was 67°F (19°C) and the overnight low was 55°F (13°C). Normals for this date are 77°F / 53°F.
