Another Foggy Morning – Mid Michigan
We woke to visibility at less than quarter of a mile this morning. This has been common over the past three days. Yesterday was cloudy most of the day and I’m hoping to see more sun today. We are starting to see some trees turning color but they are few and far between. It seems like we usually have more color by mid September than we do now. Maybe that’s a sign of a late autumn. I would be happy if this weather lasted well into December but I doubt that we’ll be that lucky.
Our 10:15 AM temp is 66°F (18°C), the humidity is 100% and we have moderate fog. Visibility is only about 1-2 miles. Winds are calm. The pressure is 30.19 in and steady. The dew point is 65°F (18°C) and skies are overcast. Yesterday’s high was 76°F (24°C) and the overnight low was 59°F (16°C). Averages for this date are 75°F / 52°F. The record high for Sept. 13 is 96°F (35°C) set in 1952, and the record low is 32°F (0°C) set in 1963.
