Finally! Some Dry Weather in Mid Michigan
Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous. Our temps made it into the 80s and the humidity was low. There was a nice breeze which kept the house comfortable with the windows open. Storms were rolling in late in the day but they didn’t affect us here where I am. Inf fact, there was only 0.08″ in my gauge this morning. The UP, however, received some pretty heavy weather but I haven’t heard of any storm damage as yet. Today is also a nice day with plenty of sun but our temperatures are about 15° cooler than yesterday. Unfortunately, rain is in the forecast for the remainder of the week and some is expected to be heavy.
Our 3:15 PM temperature is 61°F (16°C), the humidity is 40% and skies are clear. Winds are from the north at 12 mph, gusting to 18 mph. The pressure is 30.14 in and rising. The dew point is 42°F (6°C) and visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 82°F (28°C) and the overnight low was 60°F (16°C). Averages for this date are 65°F / 46°F. The record high for Oct.3 is 90°F set in 1953, and the record low is 24° set in1974.
