Finally! Some Dry Weather in Mid Michigan

Finally! Some Dry Weather in Mid Michigan

Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous.  Our temps made it into the 80s and the humidity was low.  There was a nice breeze which kept the house comfortable with the windows open.  Storms were rolling in late in the day but they didn’t affect us here where I am.  Inf fact, there was only 0.08″ in my gauge this morning.  The UP, however, received some pretty heavy weather but I haven’t heard of any storm damage as yet.  Today is also a…

A Very Wet Tuesday For Mid Michigan

A Very Wet Tuesday For Mid Michigan

Tuesday was damp and misty all day.  There was an additional 0.06″ in my gauge this morning, and although the rain has finally stopped, it is still damp and not a pleasant morning to be sure.   Our temperatures will be very warm with highs expected near 80°F.  This warm-up is expected to last for a few days although it won’t be dry.  Rain is in the forecast almost everyday, and not much sun is expected.  Our lawn is about 4…

Enough Rain Already – Mid Michigan

It seems like all it has done for the past week is rain.  As of 8:15 this morning, there was 1.24 in of rain in my gauge and it is still coming down.  Since yesterday morning, we have received just under two inches.  Looking at the radar,  showers and storms are training from the west, so it looks to be a very wet Monday.  I hope that this doesn’t continue through the entire month of October and into the winter…
