No Changes In Our Weather . . . . .

No Changes In Our Weather . . . . .

Our wonderful autumn weather continues, although I’m hearing that big changes may start next week.  Regardless, this has been a fantastic October. Our 12:30 PM temperature is 65°F, the humidity is 49%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the NNE at 0-6 mph, and the pressure is 30.05 in and steady.  The dew point is 43°F and visibility is 11 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 68°F and the overnight low was 38°F.  Average temps for this date are 58°F/38°F.  Record…

No Changes Yet . . . . .

No Changes Yet . . . . .

Our weather remains the same . . . . sunny with above average temperatures.  This is probably our last chance to get things done in the yard before reality moves in.  But with this El Nino as it is, we really aren’t sure what to expect this winter.  It could be very mild like it was back in 1979.  We had no winter that year. Our 1:15 PM temperature is 66°F, the humidity is 48%, and winds are  very light…

Another Winner . . . .

Another Winner . . . .

This weather is amazing.  I can’t remember a nicer October than what we have had this year.  I’m just hoping that we don’t have to pay for it later.  The winter weather predictions keep changing as El Nino has been a bit unpredictable lately.  Things are happening with the weather that are somewhat unusual, which is keeping the weather gurus guessing.  I think it’s going to be an interesting winter. Our 3:15 PM temperature is 68°F, the humidity is 39%,…

Another Sunny Autumn Day . . . .

Another Sunny Autumn Day . . . .

Yesterday began with some rain, then cleared up and our afternoon was sunny and pleasant.  Today is a bright day but the wind is quite chilly.  We don’t have any rain in our forecast any time soon and that’s fine with me.  Hopefully, the kids will have a decent Halloween for a change. Our 2 PM temperature is 62°F, the humidity is 36%, and winds are from the SW at 5-12 mph, and the pressure is 30.22 in and falling. …

Cloudy And Cooler . . . .

Cloudy And Cooler . . . .

Our summer-like weather is over and reality is setting in.  We had a little rain this morning, barely enough to measure, and we can expect cloudy skies most of the day. Our 12 noon temperature is 61°F, the humidity is 65% and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the NE at 2-5 mph, and the pressure is 29.88 in and rising.  The dew point is 49F and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 85F and the overnight low was…

Yesterday Broke Some Records . . . . .

Yesterday Broke Some Records . . . . .

As we are enjoying the final days of our unseasonable warm weather, we are being told that a drastic change is coming next week.  Temperatures will be doing well to reach the 60s, and even the 50s the week after that.  Last night we received a slight amount of rain, and I even heard a clap of thunder at one point.  There was  only 0.05″ in my gauge.  Some areas of the state have near drought conditions, and there’s even…

A Change In Our Weather . . . .

A Change In Our Weather . . . .

All the rain from Hurricane Isaias missed us.  Temperatures today will remain above average and I don’t think that we’ll see any rain today, but probably not much sun either.  Just when we think that there will be no more hot weather this year, Mother Nature decides that it just isn’t so.  Highs tomorrow are expected to reach well into the 80s. Our 12 noon temperature is 62F, the humidity is 92%, and winds are calm.  The pressure is 29.81…

Sunny Weather Coming To An End . . . . .

Sunny Weather Coming To An End . . . . .

We will be getting the effects of what’s left of Hurricane Isaias tomorrow.  Most of it will move east of us but we’ll still pick up a little rain.  Today, however, will still be a winner; temps will be very warm although the wind will be brisk. Our 10:30 AM temperature is 64°F, the humidity is 68%, and winds are from the SSE at 0-4 mph.  The pressure is 30.00 in and rising.  The dew point is 51°F and visibility…

Continued Lovely Weather . . . .

Continued Lovely Weather . . . .

With Hurricane Isaias threatening the Alabama and north Florida shore line, I can’t help but wonder if it will be affecting our weather.  It seems to be heading in this direction and we sure don’t need anymore rain right now.  Prayers for those in it’s path. Our 1 PM temperature is 67°F, the humidity is 38% and winds are from the SW at 1-7 mph.  The pressure is 29.97 in and rising.  The dew point is 40°F and visibility is…
