15 Degrees Below Normal For Mid Michigan
It really feels like December right now and I’m upset that we totally lost our autumn weather this year. We went from September to November, and Mother Nature totally skipped October. Usually the weather balances out eventually, and I’m hoping that it will happen in December. It would be nice to have snow for Christmas, then warm the remainder of the month. I know! I’m not being realistic.
Our 9:30 AM temperature is 26°F (-3°C), the humidity is 69% and skies are clear. There is still a trace of snow remaining and I think that it will be gone by tonight. The pressure is 30.55 in (1034.6 mb) and rising. Winds are from the north at 7 mph, and the dew point is 14°F (-10°C). The wind chill is 18°F (-8°C). Yesterday’s high was 32°F (0°C) and the overnight low was 21°F (-6°C). The record high for this date is 66°F (19°C) set in 1953, and the record low is 9°F (-13°C) set in 1986. Normals are 48°F / 34°F. Sunrise was at 7:26 AM and sunset will be at 5:13 PM.
