Waiting For A Warm-Up In Mid Michigan
Unfortunately, a warm-up isn’t expected to happen anytime soon. We will continue with highs only in the 30s over the upcoming week. Rifle deer season opened today here in Michigan and the deer hunters should be happy with the temperatures. Yesterday was quite nice with clear skies all day and almost no wind. We were finally able to get the rest of the outdoor furniture put away and I’m glad that it’s done. As for today, there is more snow in our forecast, possible mixed with rain, and radar is showing it just to our south. We still have patches of snow on the ground from our last snowfall.
Our 9:45 AM temperature is 29°F (-2°C), the humidity is 65%, and skies are cloudy. The pressure is 30.20 in (1022.7 mb) and falling. Winds are from the east at 7 mph, giving us a wind chill of 22°F (-6°C). The dew point is 23°F (-5°C). Sunrise was at 7:29 AM and sunset will be at 5:12 PM. Yesterday’s high was 32°F (0°C), and the overnight low was 25°F (-4°C). Averages for this date are 47°F / 33°F.
