A Rainy Week Continues in Mid Michigan
Yesterday was supposed to be a near washout according to our forecast, but it was anything but. We even saw a little sun in the afternoon after a few sprinkles. It was really a pleasant surprise. Temperatures were at the normal level and winds were fairly light. Rain finally moved in this morning but it didn’t last long. It left 0.05″ in my gauge, and I’m pretty sure that it isn’t finished yet. Radar is showing a large area of rain heading our way from the southwest and should be here soon. Our temperatures were on the rise all night and we should see highs in the upper 60s today.
Our 11:30 AM temp is 68°F (20°C), the humidity is 73%, and skies are overcast. The pressure is 29.54 in and falling. Winds are from the south at 9 mph, and visibility is 10 miles. The dew point is 58°F (14°C). Yesterday’s high was 59°F (19°C) and the overnight low was 58°F (14°C). Averages are 57°F / 37°F. Sunrise was at 6:50 AM and sunset was at 8:22 PM.
