A Cool, Wet Memorial Day Weekend in Mid Michigan
Yesterday was mostly dry but we did have a moderate shower in the afternoon. Temps reached the upper 70s and the humidity made it feel like July. Today is cooler with less humidity and there is another chance for more rain which we certainly don’t need. The central sections of the state have flooding but we have been lucky. My thoughts and prayers go out to those states that are under water and ravaged by tornadoes. Not a good way for the summer season to begin.
Our 10 AM temperature is 63°F (17°C), the humidity is 69%, and winds are from the east at 3 mph. The pressure is 30.03 in and rising. The dew point is 53°F (12°C) and visibility is 10 miles. Skies are cloudy. Yesterday’s high was 80°F (27°C) and the overnight low was 61°F (16°C). Averages for this date are 71°F / 50°F. Sunrise this morning was at 6:03 AM and sunset will be at 9:03 PM.
