Still Too Chilly For My Liking – Mid Michigan
It seems like we are never going to warm up this year. Temperatures can’t even make it to the predicted highs. We were suppose to reach 70° yesterday and my thermometer only read 63° as the warmest. Tuesday never made it out of the 50s. Local meteorologist, Mark Torragrossa, is blaming it on the amount of ice cover on the great lakes that we’ve had this winter. I guess we shouldn’t complain considering what’s going on in the rest of the country. At least we aren’t having tornadoes or floods.
Our 11:15 AM temperature is 58°F (14°C), the humidity is 86%, and skies are overcast with light rain. Winds are from the north but calm. The dew point is 55°F (13°C) and the pressure is 29.74 in (1007.1 mb) and steady. Visibility is 7 miles. Yesterday’s high was 66°F (19°C) and the overnight low was 55°F (13°C). Averages for this date are 73°F / 51°F. Sunrise was at 6:01 AM and sunset will be at 9:06 PM.
