We Michiganders Aren’t Used To This
I’d move to Florida if I wanted to deal with this kind of weather. It is very hot, humid, and just miserable out there this morning. We are under a excessive heat warning until tomorrow night and it can’t come fast enough for me. I couldn’t believe it when I opened the door this morning. It was like sticking my head in an oven. I dialed my AC up to a higher temp since there was such a difference in our indoor/outdoor temperature and also to help ease the demand on the electric grid. Heaven help us if the power should go out.
Our 10 AM temperature is 84°F (29°C) but it feels like 91°F (33°C). The humidity is 79% and the dew point is 76°F (24°C). Winds are from the SW at 9 mph, and the pressure is 29.79 in (1008.8 mb) and steady. Yesterday’s high was 86°F (30°C) and the overnight low was 78°F (26°C). Sunrise was at 6:14 AM and sunset will be at 9:12 PM.
