Summer weather came to Michigan with a “bang” this year.  We went from a chilly, April-May type weather to very hot as of July 1.  For awhile, we were wondering if summer was ever going to get here.  At least we aren’t sweltering like folks in Europe are.  My garden got off to a late start with the cold weather, but everything now seems to have recovered quite well.  Today should be nice with just a very slight chance of rain.
