This weather has been wonderful. There were a few storms that popped up yesterday afternoon which clouded our skies for a few hours, but they fell apart before reaching us. We went from flooded lawns and fields to very dry in just a month. Everyone’s lawns are turning brown now and we really could use a little rain. At least the lawn isn’t growing like it was. It seemed like summer would never get here, but now it has and it’s wonderful. The past two days have been sunny with low humidity. Even though highs were in the low 80s, it was comfortable without the AC on. Today is expected to be the same but there is a small chance for some pop-up showers or thunderstorms later this afternoon. We really could use some rain but the lawn has finally stopped growing and that’s a good thing. …
If you like summer weather, this week is perfect. We have clear skies, low humidity and dew points, and temperatures at a very comfortable level. I’m wishing that I were at the campground up north. We’ll be going back up on the 15th and I hope that this weather continues. There is almost a zero chance of rain for us through this weekend with the next chance being next Tuesday.
