Another Snowy, Cloudy Day In Mid Michigan
This is about the 4th day that we’ve had these exact weather conditions. Occasional snow squalls from lake effect keep dropping about an inch to two everyday. It isn’t much but just enough that we have to keep cleaning off the cars and deck. The one difference is that today is very cold compared to what we have had. Highs were supposed to reach the upper 20s and I don’t think we are going to make it. In addition, we have a wind chill making it even colder. There are sunny days in the forecast for the end of this week, but we have heard that before and it doesn’t happen.
Our 4:30 PM temp is 24F (-4C), the humidity is 75%, and the pressure is 30.15 in (1021.0 mb) and falling. Winds are from the SSW at 4-12 mph giving us a wind chill of 18F (-8C). Skies are cloudy with a few breaks in the west. The dew point is 16F (-9C). Yesterday’s high was 29F (-2C) and the overnight low was 15F (-9C). Averages for this date are 27F / 15F. Sunrise was at 8:02 AM and sunset will be at 5:33 PM.
