A Cloudy But Warm Tuesday In Northern Michigan
Our morning is very warm and humid, typical for a July day in Michigan. Yesterday was sunny but the smoke from the Canadian wildfires was very evident in our skies and even looking at the horizon. As we traveled north, we could see differences in the density of the smoke in many areas. But regardless, we never saw blue sky yesterday in spite of the sun shining all day. Today is expected to be cloudy most of the day so it won’t be as noticeable.
Our 11:15 AM temperature is 73F (23C), the humidity is 81%, and winds are from the NW at 6 mph. The dew point is 67F (19C) and the pressure is 29.99 in (1015.3 mb). Skies are overcast and visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 82F (28C) and the overnight low was 65F (18C). Average temps are 79F / 53F. Sunrise was at 6:10 AM and sunset will be at 9:20 PM.
