My picture pretty much tells what we can expect today.  We had heavy rain most of the night and there was 0.82″ in my gauge.  My county (Shiawassee) is in the advisory area and we are expecting 3-6 inches of snow by tonight.  Our snow cover this morning is down to about 30% and temperatures are expected to drop creating ice on all surfaces that are wet.  At least we aren’t expecting up to 9 inches which was first predicted for us.

Our 9:30 AM temperature is 30F (-1C), the humidity is 97%, and winds are from the NE at 4-10 mph.  The dew point is 30F (-1C) and the wind chill is 23F (-5C).  The  pressure is 29.79 in (1008.8 mb) and rising, and visibility is 4 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 47F (9C) and the overnight low was 30F (-1C).  Average temps for this date are 30F / 16F.  Sunrise was at 7:31 AM and sunset will be at 6:10 PM.
