The Summer Heat Is On Us – Mid Michigan
This is just the start of a long, dry, hot period in our weather. We do have a chance for some pop-up showers or thunderstorms, but not enough rain, if we even get any, to really do any good. The rain that we had a few days ago greened up the lawns, but with this heat, and no additional rain, I don’t think it will last long. We had a new roof put on the house yesterday, and I felt bad for the guys doing it. It was an all day job and almost as hot as today. My only hope is that something doesn’t happen to the AC. Our unit is pretty old and this is not the time to be without.
