Thunderstorms For Our Wednesday – Mid Michigan

Thunderstorms For Our Wednesday – Mid Michigan

Yesterday was quite active on the weather scene.  Thunderstorms moved in during the early afternoon and continued for about 5 hours.  There were periods of severe watches and warnings, but we had none of that here in my area.  The Detroit area, however, is a mess.  My son lives in Northville and works in Redford.  Neither has power this morning.  News coverage showed massive uprooted trees in various areas.  As for us, we just had heavy rain.  Most came with the second round of storms and our total rainfall was 1.04 inches.  We should see some sun today, then more storms are in the forecast for tomorrow.

Our 10 AM temperature is 69°F (21°C), the humidity is 89%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the SE at 0-4 mph.
