Another Damp And Gloomy Day . . . . .
We received another 0.19″ of rain since yesterday morning, and we could get more today. All the severe weather yesterday stayed well to our south and east, and my prayers go out for those who lost their homes. This has been projected to be a stormy spring season for the country, and so far, Michigan has been lucky. We should start seeing the sun on Friday, and into next week. Monday is not looking too good for the eclipse. My daughter and I were thinking about driving down near the Ohio border so we could see it in it’s totality; it won’t be worth it if it’s going to be cloudy. We’ll just have to wait and see if the forecast changes.
Our 1:15 PM temperature is 45°F (7°C), the humidity is 69%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the south at 5-16 mph, and the pressure is 29.34 in (993.6 mb) and rising. The dew point is 31°F (-1°C) and visibility is 11 miles. Yesterday’s high was 48°F (9°C) and the overnight low was 36°F (2°C). Average temps for this date are 52°F/31°F. The record high for April 2 is 81°F (27°C) set in 1963, and the record low is 8°F (-13°C) set in 1869. Sunrise was at 7:15 AM, and sunset will be at 8:05 PM.
