Very Warm And Muggy . . . . .

It really feels like the dog days of summer.  It is very hot and muggy . . . . just a good day to stay indoors unless you have a pool.  All the storms which were suppose to arrive last night totally missed us, but the worst ones are expected tonight.  I hope we don’t get anything severe right at bedtime.

Our 1:15 PM temperature is 84°F, the humidity is 67%, and the dew point is also 67°F.  It’s very uncomfortable when the humidity and dew point are the same.  Winds are from the SW at 3-8 mph, and the pressure is 20.75 in and falling.  Visibility is 10 miles.  The UV Index is very high at 9, and the Air Quality Index is good at 40.  Yesterday’s high was 88F, and the overnight low was 73°F.  The record high for July 13 is 99°F set in 1936, and the record low is 33°F set in 1865.  Sunrise was at 6:11 AM, and sunset will be at 9:15 PM.
