Rain Added To Our Forecast . . . .

Rain Added To Our Forecast . . . .

What was supposed to be a dry period has now changed.  There is now a very slight chance of some thunderstorms developing late this afternoon.  Any storms that do happen will be few and far between, but the chance still remains.  Some could even be very strong.  Our sky is already beginning to cloud up a bit, and there was a sign that we could have had some light rain overnight.  There was  0.01″ in my gauge at 8 AM, but I’m thinking that it could have been condensation since the dew has been very heavy lately.  I didn’t see any rain on radar, but sometimes light showers don’t always show up.

Our 10:30 AM temperature  is 75°F (24°C), the humidity is 83%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are calm and the dew point is 68°F (20°C).  The pressure is 30.12 in (1020.0 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 12 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 82°F (28°C), and the overnight low was 64°F (18°C).  Average temps for this date are 79°F/57°F.  Record temps for August  are 97°F (1948), and 34°F (1866).  Sunrise was at 6:55 AM, and sunset will be at 8:24 PM.
