Rain Ending And Cooler Temps . . . .

Rain Ending And Cooler Temps . . . .

We had a series of intermittent showers and thundershowers throughout yesterday afternoon.  There were small cells which developed just to our northwest and left us with some pretty good rain amounts.  There was little over half an inch this morning in my gauge.  Today has been much cooler with mostly cloudy skies with filtered sun.  There is no more rain in the forecast for today, but tomorrow is expected to be wet once again.

Our 11:15 AM temperature is 70°F (21°C), the humidity is 88%, and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds  are calm and the pressure is 30.11 in ( 1918.7 mb) and steady.  The dew point is 64°F (18°C) and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 82°F (28°C), and the overnight low was 65°F (18°C).  Average temps for this date are 78°F/56°F.  Record temps for August 28 are 99°F (1973), and 36°F (1986).  Sunrise was at 6:59 AM, and sunset will be at 8:18 PM.
