Stormy Weather . . . .

Stormy Weather . . . .

Yesterday began with sun, then became stormy in the late afternoon.  We were under a severe TS warning for awhile, but what we got was a mega rainstorm which dumped over an inch of rain on  us in about an hour.  It wasn’t a severe storm by any means, just a very wet one.  It did, however, bring the temperatures down which was a blessing.  At the final moments of the storm, the sun came out and we had a beautiful rainbow.  We have a chance for more storms today and temps will remain in the upper 79s.

Our 1:151 PM temperature is 75°F, the humidity is 78% and skies are overcast.  The pressure is 30.16 and steady.  The dew point is 66°F and visibility is 10 miles.  Winds are from the NNE at 2-5 mph.  Yesterday’s high was 92°F and the overnight low was 67°F.  Average temps for this date are 81F°/58°F.   Record temps for June 24 are 95°F (1934) and 42°F (1979).  Sunrise was at 5:58 AM and sunset will be at 9:19 PM.
