Air Quality Alert . . . .

Air Quality Alert . . . .

Today is hot and smoky from the Canadian wildfires.  It seems that we go through this every year anymore.  We are being warmed to stay indoors as much as possible, especially those with respiratory  conditions.  Other than that, it’s really to hot to do anything outdoors anyway.  In my picture, you can see the smoky haze in the distance but I think it was worse yesterday.  In the evening, you could actually smell it.  The Air Quality is very unhealthy at 133.  I feel sorry for those with no AC.

Our 2:15 PM temperature is 83°F, the humidity is 48%, and winds are from the WNW at 3–7 mph.  The pressure is 30.01 in and rising.  The dew point is 60°F and visibility is 5 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 85°F and the overnight low was 60°F.  Average temps for this date are 82°F/60°F.  Record temps for July 13 are 108°F (1936) and 45°F (2009).  Sunrise was at 6:11 AM and sunset will be at 9:14 PM.
