Another Smokey Day . . . .

Once again we are advised not to spend much time outdoors due to the wildfire smoke from Canada. I checked out a map yesterday, showing all current wildfires, and it looks like half of Manitoba is on fire. My picture shows the Mackinaw Bridge yesterday through the smoke. As for us, it is still quite hazy and our clear sky looks more grey than blue. We have another round of hot, sticky weather for the week ahead, so this makes me feel that autumn can’t get here fast enough.
Our 1:45 PM temperature is 80°F, the humidity is 50% and winds are from the east at 3-5 mph. The pressure is 30.06 in and steady. Skies are partly cloudy. Yesterday’s high was 79°F and the overnight low as 57°F. Average temps for August 4 are 81°F/60°F. Visibility is 7 miles. Sunrise was at 6:30 AM and sunset will be at 8:54.
DURAND/OWOSSO FORECAST:
