Mostly Clear . . . .

Mostly Clear . . . .

Yesterday afternoon, we had some thunderstorms forming right over us, small cells which developed into big ones.  We received just under half and inch of rain.  Today has been clear but now clouds are moving in and we again have the chance for storms developing.  We were noticing how green everything is and that is unusual for the month of August.  It looks more like June.  I’m hoping that the fall season will be drier.

Our 1:30 PM temperature is 85°F, the humidity is 62%, and skies are partly cloudy.  The pressure is 30.02 in and steady.  Winds are from the south at 0-5 mph.  The dew point is 68°F and visibility is 19 miles.  Yesterday’s high as 83°F and the overnight low was 65°F.  Record temps for August 6 are 102°F (1936) and 43°F (1997).  Sunrise was at 6:34 AM and sunset will be at 8:51 PM.
