The Dog Days Of Summer . . . .

The Dog Days Of Summer . . . .

Once again, the heat has returned.  This has really  been a hot summer for us, too hot for me.  At least we don’t have as much smoke today, but still not pleasant to be outdoors, unless you are partaking in something near the water.  Even the sun doesn’t feel very friendly and just adds to the heat.  There is no real cool down coming anytime soon.

Our 11:45 AM temperature is 86°F, the humidity is 63%, and winds are from the SSW at 2-10 mph.  Skies are mostly clear and the pressure is 29.93 in and steady.  The dew point is 72°F and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 92°F and the overnight low was 74°F.  Average temps for this date are 81°F/59°F.  Record temps for August 9 are 96°F (1934) and 39°F (1964).  Sunrise was at 6:37 AM and sunset will be at 8:45 PM.
